Uzzi Ben Cnaan

1954–1991

Born in Tel Aviv, Uzzi Ben Cnaan was an author, journalist, and playwright for children and young adults. His earliest works were published in the 1970s in the newspaper Mishmar ha-yeladim. Among his plays is Naḥman, on the life of poet ḥayim Naḥman Bialik. In 1980, Ben Cnaan won the Lamdan Prize.
