Mateo Gucci was a Polish-Italian Renaissance architect and sculptor working in Kraków. Little is known about him, but he is believed to have designed the city’s rebuilt Old Synagogue and may also have played a role in the renovation of the Wawel Castle from 1507 to 1536.
