Sara Horowitz

b. 1951

Sara Horowitz grew up in New York City. She is a professor of comparative literature and director of the Centre for Jewish Studies at York University in Toronto. She is also editor of the Azrieli Series of Holocaust Memoirs and has served as president of the Association for Jewish Studies. Her areas of specialty include gender and memory in Holocaust literature.
