Creator Bio

Adi Ophir

b. 1951

Philosopher and editor Adi Ophir was born in Israel. He is an associate professor at the Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas at Tel Aviv University, and a fellow at the Hartman Institute and the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem. He has written on ethics, political philosophy, and critical theory. Ophir was a founder of the periodical Teoryah uvikoret.
