Milton "Bill" Finger
Milton “Bill” Finger was co-creator, with Bob Kane, of the characters of Batman and Robin and played a significant role in the creation and development of the Batman comic book series. Finger worked as a ghostwriter in Kane’s studio for many years, and while he never shared in the profits of the ever-growing Batman empire, he has in recent years been given due credit for his major contributions to the enterprise.

Bob Kane (born Robert Kahn) was cocreator, with Milton "Bill" Finger, of the characters Batman and Robin. Batman first appeared in DC Comics in May 1939 and remains an icon of American popular culture. Kane secured the copyright to Batman early on and was long credited as sole creator of the series despite the important role Finger played in its development.
