Binyamin Tenenbaum

1914–1999

Binyamin Tenenbaum (later Tene) was an author and Polish-to-Hebrew translator who emigrated from Warsaw to Palestine in 1937. He helped establish Kibbutz Eilon in the Western Galilee. In 1946, Tenenbaum returned to Poland with the help of poet Wladyslaw Broniewski to collect testimonies of Jewish child survivors of the Holocaust, which Tenenbaum translated into Hebrew.
