My Two Souls
One of them sits by the rivers of the East
And her eye reflects the innocent God of peace;
And the other sits by the rivers of the West
And dreams a dream.
And in the evenings of good will if thou cast thine glance
Thou shalt see two shadows intensely embrace,
Then know, that they are two souls,
My souls are there.
