World Sephardi Federation

Established in 1925

The World Sephardi Federation was founded in Vienna at an international gathering of Sephardim prior to the 14th Zionist Congress. The initiative for its establishment came from the leaders of the Sephardi and Mizrahi communities in Mandatory Palestine, who wished to give the Sephardi communities a larger voice in the Zionist movement and in the New Yishuv.
