Helene Sheinberg

Very little is known about Helene Sheinberg, who worked in the New York Public Library system. Sheinberg published a description of Jewish library users in Di tsukunft, noting differences between libraries on the Lower East Side and the Upper West Side. Her observations touch on language preferences, the gender of readers, and how they communicated with librarians.
