Lawrence Kushner

b. 1943

Lawrence Kushner grew up in Cincinnati. He is a Reform rabbi, educator, lecturer, and author of numerous books on Jewish spirituality, some for younger readers. He was the rabbi of Congregation Beth El of Sudbury, Massachusetts, and serves as scholar in residence at Congregation Emanu-El of San Francisco, also teaching at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles.
