Dani Horowitz
b. 1941
Dani Horowitz is a director, playwright, screenwriter, and translator; he was born in Pardes Hannah, Israel. Horowitz has written more than twenty-five plays, and directed many that have been performed internationally. He has also translated numerous plays into Hebrew and written screenplays, among them Masa alunkot (1975) and Hamiklaḥat (1998). In 1996, Horowitz was awarded the Prime Minister’s Prize.
