David Wolpe
b. 1958
David Wolpe, a Conservative rabbi, grew up in Philadelphia. Wolpe is the spiritual leader of Sinai Temple in Los Angeles. He has taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary and the University of Judaism. Considered a major spokesperson for the movement, he lectures and writes a number of columns for the general and Jewish press.
