Avivah Gottlieb Zornberg

b. 1944

Born in London and brought up in Glasgow, Avivah Gottlieb Zornberg is a Torah scholar, author, educator, and lecturer. Zornberg lives in Jerusalem and is an instructor in Tanakh at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. She also teaches at the London School of Jewish Studies. In 1995 she received the National Jewish Book Award for nonfiction.
