Irving Greenberg

b. 1933

Born in New York City, Irving “Yitz” Greenberg is an Orthodox rabbi, author, scholar, Zionist, and founder of CLAL (The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership). Greenberg is also president of the Jewish Life Network/Steinhardt Foundation. His numerous articles and monographs address post-Holocaust theology, Jewish thought and religion, and Jewish–Christian relations.
