Joseph Lieberman

Born in Stamford, Connecticut, and a graduate of Yale University, Joseph Lieberman was the first Orthodox Jew to serve as a U.S. senator. In 2000, he was the Democratic Party vice-presidential candidate. He remains a senator from Connecticut.
