Nahum Barnea

b. 1944

Born in Petaḥ Tikva, Nahum Barnea is a leading Israeli journalist and the political columnist of the country’s largest daily newspaper, Yediot aḥaronot. He also was the Washington bureau chief for the Histadrut Labor Federation’s newspaper, Davar. Barnea received the Sokolov Award for Journalism, and won the Israel Prize in 2007.
