Jerold S. Auerbach

b. 1936

Jerold Auerbach was born in Philadelphia and grew up in New York City. A professor of history at Wellesley College, Auerbach writes on legal issues, the history of the American Jewish community, freedom of speech, and the history of Israel. He has been a Guggenheim Fellow and a Senior Fulbright Lecturer.
