Shmuel Trigano

b. 1948

Born in Blida, Algeria, Shmuel Trigano is a sociologist and professor at Paris C University Nanterre. His writings are concerned with situations faced by Jews and Muslims in France, and with the interplay of traditional Jewish and Western values. Trigano also directs several programs at the Alliance Israélite Universelle.
