Yosef Gorny

b. 1933

Yosef Gorny is a researcher of Jewish history. Born in Poland, he came to Palestine at the age of four. Gorny is a professor emeritus of the School of Jewish Studies and head of the Institute of Jewish Media and Communications Research at Tel Aviv University. He received the Bialik Prize for Jewish philosophy in 2006.
