Daniel Boyarin

b. 1946

Born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Daniel Boyarin is a professor of Talmudic culture at the University of California, Berkeley. His scholarship integrates philosophy, rhetoric, women’s studies, and gay and lesbian studies with the study of rabbinic literature, Judaism, and Christianity in Late Antiquity.
