Tom Segev

b. 1945

Born in Jerusalem, Tom Segev is a journalist and historian of Israeli history and social issues. Associated with the country’s New Historians, Segev’s books have sparked off intense debate in Israel’s intellectual establishment. He writes a regular column in Haaretz and hosts the television show Keriat Benayim on the Knesset channel.
