Judith Plaskow

b. 1947

Born in New York, Judith Plaskow is a professor of religious studies at Manhattan College. A scholar of contemporary religious thought and Jewish feminism, she is an editor, lecturer, columnist, and author of several monographs. Plaskow co-founded the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion and served as president of the American Academy of Religion.
