Hillel Halkin

b. 1939

Hillel Halkin is a New York–born author, journalist, and Yiddish and Hebrew translator. An active Zionist, he moved to Israel in 1970. He is also a frequent political commentator, often on the Arab–Israeli conflict. His articles are published in Commentary, Forward, the Jerusalem Post, and other journals.
