Ariel Hirschfeld
b. 1953
Ariel Hirschfeld was born in Pardes Hannah, Israel. He studied music and literature at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and now teaches there and at the Bezalel Academy. Hirschfeld is a literary and art critic and has written children’s literature.

The Moshava of Pardes-Hannah is the place I come from, but since I left it, my eyes have been turned away from it, as if I couldn’t look at it. Until I went to the army, the Moshava was a whole place…
