Jerome Charyn

b. 1937

Born in New York City, Jerome Charyn teaches film studies at the American University of Paris. He has written novels and several fictionalized memoirs, as well as six nonfiction works. In 1996 Charyn was named an Officier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture.
