Dan Vittorio Segre

1922–2014

Dan Vittorio Segre was born in the Piedmont region of Italy. Forced out of Italy during the fascist era, he moved to Palestine, later serving as an Israeli diplomat and as head of the overseas service of Kol Israel, the broadcasting station. He taught international relations and headed the Institute of Mediterranean Studies at the University of Lugano.
