Saul Friedländer

Born in Prague, Saul Friedländer has explored the Holocaust and its repre sen ta tion by historians. He has lived and taught in Israel and the United States. Friedländer holds the 1939 Club Chair in Holocaust Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received a MacArthur Grant in 1999 and a Pulitzer Prize in 2008.
