Robin Becker

b. 1951

Robin Becker, a poet and educator, grew up in Philadelphia, taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and now is a professor of English and women’s studies at Pennsylvania State University. Among Becker’s honors are the Virginia Faulkner Prize, the Strousse Award, the Lambda Literary Award in Lesbian Poetry, and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
