David Bezmozgis
b. 1973
Riga-born David Bezmozgis, now a resident of Canada, is a short story author and documentary filmmaker. In addition to publishing in periodicals such as The New Yorker and Zoetrope, Bezmozgis is a winner of the Reform Judaism Prize for Jewish Fiction, the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
