Eileen Pollack

b. 1956

Eileen Pollack grew up in Liberty, New York. After studying physics at Yale University, she became a novelist and prose writer. She has served as the Zell Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at the University of Michigan. She is the recipient of two Pushcart Prizes, the Cohen Award, and the Edwin Lewis Wallant Prize.
