Francine Prose

Francine Prose is a Brooklyn- born novelist and short story writer whose audiences include children as well as adults. Also a distinguished critic and essayist, she has taught literature and writing at Bard College. A 2000 fi nalist for the National Book Award, Prose has served as president of the PEN American Center.
