Serge Liberman

1942–2017

A major figure in Australian Jewish letters, Serge Lieberman was born in Uzbekistan and immigrated to Australia in 1951, where he was a medical practitioner, the author of novels and short stories, the compiler of A Bibliography of Australian Judaica, and an editor and Yiddish translator.
