Erica Jong

b. 1942

Novelist, poet, and essayist, Erica Jong is best known for her frank portrayal of female sexuality and feminism. Born in New York, she has written more than twenty books and has lectured internationally, receiving such awards as the United Nations Award for Excellence in Literature, the Bess Hokin Prize, and the Sigmund Freud Award for Literature.
