Nahum M. Sarna
1923–2005
Born in London, Nahum M. Sarna settled in the United States in 1951 and later served as professor of biblical studies at Brandeis University. A translator, teacher, editor, and leading scholar of biblical and rabbinic texts, he was also the author of popular and scholarly manuscripts and articles.
