Hanan Hebron

(1931–2000)

Architects Ziva Armoni and Hanan Hebron were commissioned to design the National and University Library in Jerusalem. The library is charged with collecting and preserving materials connected to cultural, national, and historic elements of Jewish life in Israel and from around the world. The current building was inaugurated in 1960 at the heart of what would become Hebrew University’s Givat Ram campus.
