Hanan Hebron

1931–2000

Architect Hanan Hebron was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and immigrated to Israel early in life. He studied at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. One of the founders of Kibbutz Reʿim in the Negev, Hebron was instrumental in the planning department of the United Kibbutz Movement. In addition to his contributions to the development of kibbutzim, he and Ziva Armoni designed the National and University Library.
