Early 20th Century

Sarah Lévy was the pseudonym of a novelist and poet who was active in Paris in the 1920s and 1930s. Her sensationalist novel O mon goye! (1929), with its harsh portrayal of Jews, was much discussed in Jewish and non-Jewish circles.
