Shabbetai Sheftel Auerbach
d. 1738
Shabbetai Sheftel ben Zalman Auerbach was a scribe active in Prague in the early eighteenth century. He was descended from a family expelled from Vienna in 1669/70, and his father served as a dayan (rabbinic judge) in Nikolsburg in Moravia (present day Mikulov, Czech Republic).
