Creator Bio

Agi Mishol

b. 1947

Poet Agi Mishol was born in Transylvania, immigrated to Israel in 1951, and now lives in Kfar Mordechai. Mishol has served as artistic director of the Mishkenot Sha’ananim Jerusalem International Poetry Festival and has facilitated creative writing workshops at universities and colleges. She was awarded the Yehuda Amichai Poetry Prize in 2003.
