Yuri Kuper

b. 1940

Russian artist Yuri Kuper immigrated to Israel in 1972, and soon moved to England. He is particularly known for his still lifes, which often feature found objects from his studio. He has exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Japan, and his work is found at the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He lives in France and has a studio in New York.
