Yoram Kirsch

b. 1945

Researcher Yoram Kirsch was born in Tel Aviv. He is a professor of physics at the Open University of Israel and a member of Neemane Torah Vaavodah, founded in 1978 to preserve religious Zionism and combat religious extremism. Kirsch has published numerous essays and research studies in physics. His Mahpekhot bahalakhah (Revolutions in Halakhah) set off public debate in Israel’s intellectual circles.
