Uriel Simon

b. 1929

Uriel Simon was born in Jerusalem. He was a professor of biblical studies at Hebrew University and Bar-Ilan University and served as a director of the university’s Institute for the History of Jewish Research. A translator, editor, scholar, and commentator, he also taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Yale University, and Harvard University.
