Tova Mirvis, an American writer living in Newton, Massachusetts, is the author of two novels, both of which explore the contemporary Orthodox Jewish community. The roots of Mirvis’s family in Memphis, Tennessee, go back to the 1800s. Her first novel, The Ladies Auxiliary, was a national bestseller.
