Silvia Bonucci

b. 1964

Author and translator Silvia Bonucci was born in Monza, Italy. She studied languages and literature at the Sorbonne and since 1988 has worked in Rome as a translator, mainly for the cinema and art world. Bonucci was one of the founders of a protest group against Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s government in 2002. Bonucci won the Premio Regium Julii and the Premio Zerilli Marimò in 2003.
