Si Kahn

b. 1944

Born in Boston and brought up in State College, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., Si Kahn is a singer, songwriter, playwright, and political activist. He founded and served until 2010 as executive director of Grassroots Leadership, advocating for civil and economic rights in the South. He has earned the Solidarity Forever award from the organization 21st Century Democrats.
