Sa‘id Tsa‘di

Little is known about Sa‘id Tsa‘di, one of the important rabbis in Yemen. He lived in Sana’a and wrote a number of manuscripts. His Dofi ha-zeman (Chastisements of the Times), the first historical composition known to us from Yemen, chronicling the years from 1717 to 1726, describes the loss of his son and daughter.
