Rebecca Walker

Rebecca Walker was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and grew up in New York and San Francisco. A contributing editor to Ms. Magazine and the cofounder of Third Wave Foundation, Walker is a journalist and memoir writer who has explored her interracial background. She was named one of the fifty most influential American leaders under age forty by Time.
