Rebecca Goldstein

b. 1950

A novelist and philosopher, Rebecca Goldstein grew up in White Plains, New York, attended Barnard College, received her doctorate in philosophy from Princeton University, and has taught philosophy and creative writing at Trinity College and Harvard University. Her writing has achieved both critical and popular acclaim, and she is the recipient of a 1996 MacArthur Fellowship and the 2006 Koret Book Award in Jewish Thought.
