Raquel Chalfi
b. 1945
Raquel Chalfi is a poet, playwright, journalist, and filmmaker, who was born and raised in Tel Aviv. Educated at the Hebrew University as well as at the University of California at Berkeley and the American Film Institute, Chalfi has edited documentary programs for Kol Israel radio, and has directed films and television programs. She received the Bialik Prize in 2006.
