Rachel Adler

b. 1943

Born in Chicago, Rachel Adler is the Rabbi David Ellenson Professor of Jewish Religious Thought and Professor of Modern Jewish Thought and Feminist Studies at Hebrew Union College–JIR/Los Angeles. The recipient of a National Jewish Book Award, Adler has written studies and many articles that approach theology from a feminist and Reform perspective.
