Pinchas Kon

d. 1941

Historian Pinchas Kon lived and studied in Vilna from the year 1919. He ran a law firm and published essays in the Polish, Yiddish, Hebrew, German, and Russian presses, writing primarily about the Jewish community in nineteenth-century Vilna. Kon worked with YIVO and was a member of the Association of Jewish Writers and Journalists in Poland. He was arrested by the Nazis in 1941.
